Camp of the Woods is located in the beautiful Adirondack Park in the Adirondack Mountains of Upstate New York, and boasts a lovely lakefront setting. Activities include the Sonju Sports Complex–featuring indoor courts, a state-of-the-art climbing wall, and family-style game room—heated indoor pool, hiking trails, lakefront campfires, outdoor multi-use field, and more! WHO Should Attend?

The event is for all young adults, young adult officers, and young adult leaders in The Salvation Army Eastern Territory, ages 18-35+. Childcare is not provided, so please plan to leave minors at home. We encourage all seekers, camp staff, and small group attendees to be invited to attend this event.

COST:

$150 per delegate. Price includes accommodation, meals, snacks, brunch on Sunday, and all activities and experiences associated with Camp of the Woods.

GUESTS and TEACHING:

We are excited to share that we will have the highly sought-after and dynamic Danielle Strickland as our main speaker. We will also be highlighting Young Adults in our territory through the territorial ground UNBOUND and Move Dance Company. We are also excited to have Katie Luse and ConnectUp Prayer Ministry participating and leading prayer sessions throughout the weekend.

We are also excited to share with you the “Build Your Own” Session times, and Interest sessions. We will have multiple ways for young adults to experience the Lord, including artistic expression, movement, spiritual disciplines, and discussion around hard-hitting topics affecting the Christian church today. HOW to Register:

Interested parties should register at the corps level, with those registrations collection and compiled by the Divisional Youth Department. Once the Divisional registration form is completed, this should be forwarded to Justina Stickland and Capt. Leslie Knaggs in the Territorial Youth Department for further processing. REGISTRATION IS DUE FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 27, 2019.
